How do you see the World? Grab a Camera, take some photos and create a time capsule of your life whilst we are all self isolating.

Safety

Scissors
Supervise young people appropriately when they’re using scissors. Store all sharp objects securely, out of the reach of young people
Phones and cameras
All activities must be safely managed. 


To earn your badge, do all four of the photography activities below.

Photographer Task 1: Snap Happy
Learn how to use a camera, and share your skills with others.

You will need: Scrap paper, pens or pencils, camera or phone.


Photography Task 2: Love where you live.
Become a photographer, get out and about, and help your local area to shine. Take at least 5 photographs to share with your cub pack to tell us about your what daily exercise you are able to take outside in lock down.

You will need: Pens and pencils, scrap paper, camera or phone, a map of your local streets (optional), print out of how to take great photos .



Photography Task 3: Create a Time capsule
What makes you happy or sad, take at least 10 photographs and create a time capsule for everyone to admire and discuss with your parent how you feel. Celebrate the things that make you happy and share with them the things that make you worried or sad. Please use the Theme of life in your household during Covid-19. You could create a diary or take photos of things that shape your experiences.


Photography Task 4: Blast from the past.
Recreate an old photo and see what difference a blast of colour can make. Perhaps you could recreate an old scouting photograph with you in your current uniform.

You will need: Copies of old black and white photos, camera or phone, print out of scouting scrapbook .
